Troubleshoot Awkward Spaces with Aesthetic and Functionality in Mind

The narrow living room at the Rise project was a challenge, but not one we couldn’t overcome. To provide as much seating as possible without obstructing the view or cluttering the space, we needed a specific radius to the curved sofa. The wonderful team at Buildlane made the custom furniture fabrication process a breeze!

One of my favorite details in the Rise project is the custom built sectional. The wood plinth base highlights the curve, tricking the eye and softening the corner its tucked into. The height also strikes a great balance; low enough to showcase the city views, yet tall enough to lounge comfortably.
